If goods are traded between different countries within the European Union, it may constitute an intra-Community supply. An intra-Community supply is a delivery of goods by a VAT-liable supplier established in an EU country to a VAT-liable customer established in another EU country. If you are a VAT-liable entrepreneur established in an EU country other than the Netherlands, you can easily place your order as an intra-Community purchase via POScentrum. Your VAT number is automatically validated by the European Union during the checkout process. Once your VAT number has been validated and deemed valid, your order is automatically converted to an intra-Community supply. If the system is unable to validate your VAT number at the time of order, it will be done manually later to ensure correct invoicing.
