The Zebra DNA toolkit of powerful applications makes the MC3400 Series easier to set up, secure, manage and use — including the ability to locate lost and missing devices with Device Tracker and enable simple, secure and personalized access to shared devices with Identity Guardian’s multifactor biometric facial login. High resolution front and rear cameras are now available in both the gun and straight shooter form factors — and the new front-facing camera improves device security by enabling biometric facial recognition to streamline the log-in process and prevent unauthorized device access. Since different use cases have different data capture requirements, the MC3400/MC3450 offers a choice of four scan engines, allowing you to select standard, advanced and extended range scanning for indoors or outdoors scanning applications. A new and improved keyboard design makes data entry easier, increasing productivity and reducing keying errors. And with backwards compatibility to MC3300 chargers and batteries, and a familiar look and feel, existing customers can realize big productivity gains with minimal operational disruptions.
